How to use the growth stimulator "Zircon" for plant treatment

Composition and properties of the biostimulant "Zircon"
In 2001, NEST M launched Zircon, an immunomodulator, biological root promoter, and plant flowering and disease resistance inducer. The initial product was available in ampoules containing 40 drops. Shortly thereafter, plastic canisters with capacities ranging from 1 to 20 liters became available. This quantity of product is widely used in industrial applications.

The uniqueness of the drug is its component composition. The immunomodulator does not contain chemical elements or other toxic substances. The plant biostimulant contains plant-based ingredients. The main active ingredient is hydroxycinnamic acids (100 mg/l). Hydroxycinnamic acids (chicory, chlorogenic, and caftaric) are extracts from purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea), a plant of the Asteraceae family.
Alcohol is used as an additional component to stabilize all substances and facilitate rapid penetration of the product into plants. "Zircon" is a light yellow or yellow-green liquid. When diluted with water, it produces a characteristic alcohol odor and foam.
Purpose and benefits of use
The immunomodulator "Zircon" has a broad spectrum of effects on plant organisms. It is recommended for:
- restoration and normalization of metabolic processes in plants;
- strengthening the immune system and increasing vitality;
- maintaining an optimal balance of internal microflora;
- reducing stress during transplantation;
- rapid ripening of the crop without loss of commercial and taste qualities;
- increasing crop yields;
- stimulating the nutritional qualities of cultivated garden and horticultural crops;
- increasing adaptive capacity;
- activation of the development and growth of the above-ground part and root system;
- improving soil fertility;
- increasing drought resistance and winter hardiness;
- extending the shelf life of the harvested crop.
Thanks to its unique composition, Zircon reduces the harmful effects of UV rays on cultivated and ornamental plants. Furthermore, the product promotes resistance to pathogens causing late blight, bacterial blight, fusarium, downy mildew, cytosporosis, powdery mildew, gray mold, scab, and other fungal, bacterial, and viral diseases.
The use of an immunomodulator increases the germination and survival rate of planting material. At the same time, gardeners note a low risk of harmful pesticides, radionuclides, and heavy metals entering their produce. The harvested root crops, vegetables, fruits, and berries pose no health risks. The products are considered environmentally friendly.
Another advantage of Zircon is its economical consumption and affordable price.

This video explains the specifics of using an immunomodulator.
Features of the use of Zircon
The instructions for use indicate that the biostimulant can be used to treat seeds and tubers before planting, as well as to treat garden, vegetable, and indoor plants.
For vegetable and garden crops
Zircon fertilizer and stimulant is used for soaking planting material, watering flowering garden crops, and fertilizing vegetable plants. Recommended application rates and application guidelines for vegetable and garden crops are presented in the table below:

For conifers
Purchasing conifer seedlings is quite expensive. For this reason, many gardeners use cuttings for propagation. Zircon is suitable for stimulating root formation, rapid adaptation after planting, and active growth of green mass. Conifer cuttings are soaked in an immunomodulator solution prepared according to the instructions for several hours.
For indoor flowers
"Zircon" is used to strengthen the immunity of indoor plants, including violets, orchids and capricious house roses.
One ampoule of biological stimulator is diluted in 1 liter of water. Before planting, bulbs and seeds of indoor plants are soaked in the prepared solution for 14 to 24 hours. For watering and foliar feeding, dilute 4 drops of the product in 1 liter of water. "Zircon" not only increases plant vitality but also has a beneficial effect on the duration of flowering.
- Seed treatment
- Foliar feeding of indoor flowers
- Watering the plants in the garden
Compatibility table with other drugs
The modern agricultural industry offers a wide selection of plant biostimulants. The following products have a mechanism of action similar to the immunomodulator "Zircon":
- "Athlete";
- "Epin Extra";
- Ferovit
- potassium and sodium salts of humic acids;
- "Immunotocyte";
- "Immunocytophyte";
- Ecosil
- "Sprostok" etc.
Zircon is compatible with most pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers for indoor plants, garden crops, and vegetable crops. However, combining the immunomodulator with alkaline fertilizers is not recommended, as they inhibit the active ingredient.

Precautions and storage conditions
"Zircon" is classified as a low-toxicity biopreparation. Hazard class 4. According to the manufacturer, the active ingredient and other components of the product have no harmful effects on the environment. The product does not accumulate in soil or groundwater.
After three days, any unused solution should be discarded. Store the diluted powder in a place protected from sunlight. Before reuse, acidify the solution with citric acid. 1 g of acid is required per 5 liters of liquid.
The stimulant has a shelf life of 36 months from the date of manufacture in its original packaging. Ideally, store in a dark, dry place out of reach of children and pets. The recommended storage temperature is 24°C.

User reviews
"After seeing an ad for the fertilizer and stimulant "Zircon," I decided to buy a few ampoules to treat the trees and shrubs in my garden. I noticed an increase in the fruiting of my fruit trees and berry bushes. My ornamental plants, in turn, are delighting me with more profuse blooms."
"Our long absence from the dacha negatively affected our garden roses. The flowers were infested with harmful insects, and the buds became small, dull, and weakened. The blooms were weak, and the flowers themselves looked lifeless. I decided to use the product "Zircon." To my great surprise, the roses began to recover: new buds appeared, and the petals became rich and beautiful."
Many beginning gardeners believe that using biological stimulants can replace proper plant care. This is a misconception. The use of immunomodulators, including Zircon, is a complementary approach to caring for garden, vegetable, and indoor crops.
