Instructions for use of the drug "Tilt" for protecting plants from diseases
Content
Detailed description of the drug "Tilt"
Thanks to its preventative and therapeutic effects, the product provides a reliable defense against various pathogens. "Tilt" spreads quickly throughout the plant, preventing further infection and promoting the restoration of already affected parts.
Active ingredient
The product's main active ingredient is propiconazole, which makes up one-quarter of its total composition. Propiconazole's advantage is that it has proven itself to be an effective pesticide and is also safe for warm-blooded animals (when safety precautions and instructions for use are followed). It quickly inhibits the proliferation of fungal spores and pathogens, affecting only the foliage, sparing ears, buds, and fruit.

Propiconazole also promotes the activation of photosynthesis processes, due to which damaged areas are quickly restored.
Release form
Tilt is available in convenient forms for small households and industrial use. For home use, a small 1 ml ampoule (costing approximately 250 rubles) is available. For larger areas, 5 liter canisters are ideal (price ranges from 1,300 to 1,500 rubles). The manufacturer also produces the product as a wettable powder. The powder contains 37% propiconazole.
Mechanism and spectrum of action
"Tilt" successfully combats the most common stem and leaf diseases of plants: powdery mildew, rust, and septoria. Its effectiveness against pyrenophorosis has not been proven.
When applied to the green parts of the plant, the active ingredient is absorbed by the stems and leaves within 24 hours and begins to spread throughout the plant from the bottom up. The therapeutic effect begins within two days. The protective effect can last up to 30 days, sometimes up to 45 days under favorable weather conditions. This allows for disease control at its peak, at critical moments.
- Stem rust
- Fusarium
- Yellow spot
- Powdery mildew
Advantages and disadvantages of fungicide
Like any other medication, Tilt has its pros, cons, and specific uses. You can evaluate the product by comparing its advantages and disadvantages and comparing the merits of one over the other.
- can be used at any stage of plant growth;
- broad spectrum of action - covers almost all common (phytopathogenic) diseases of the above-ground part of the plant;
- long period of exposure;
- economical use, low consumption rate;
- has a prophylactic (prevents the occurrence of disease) and therapeutic (curative) effect, and also destroys pathogens;
- promotes the activation of photosynthesis, and, therefore, the active growth and development of the plant;
- moisture resistant: the active component works at both high and low relative humidity;
- if instructions are followed precisely, it is not phytotoxic;
- can be used in the preparation of tank mixtures.
- the effectiveness of the drug in case of powdery mildew has not been proven;
- high degree of resistance: the product must be alternated with other fungicides.

Instructions for use of the fungicide "Tilt"
The effectiveness of any drug depends not only on the main active ingredient, but also on strict adherence to the instructions for use.
Consumption rates
Based on the Tilt application regulations, treatment is carried out at a specific time and with a precise amount of the preparation (working solution) for different crops:
- Cereal crops (winter): the first preventative spraying is carried out before flowering. If infestation appears, repeat the spraying, but no less than 30 days after the first treatment; the recommended dose is 20 to 30 ml per m²;
- spring cereals: the first treatment is carried out when the plant has at least 5 leaves, repeat treatment in case of infection is carried out after a month;
- red clover: applied twice at the first signs of damage, with an interval of 30 days; the recommended dose is 20 to 30 ml per m²;
- rapeseed: carried out according to the scheme for spring cereals, but the recommended dose can be increased from 40 ml per m²;
- To protect vegetables, grapes and currants, the concentration of the product should be within 5%.

Methods of application
To treat the culture, you should prepare an aqueous solution.
The concentration and amount of solution depends on the type of culture and the purpose of use (therapeutic, prophylactic).
Since the emulsion is difficult to dilute and settles, you should first dissolve the product in a small amount of water and then mix it with the remaining required amount of liquid. The water should be filtered or settled..
Spraying is recommended in calm, windless weather on a hot day. Don't worry if it rains a few hours after spraying – the precipitation won't affect the results. The product's effects will begin to manifest within a few hours.

Storage terms and conditions
The Tilt production date is indicated on the packaging. The shelf life is 3 years. However, to achieve this, the product must be stored in its original, sealed packaging at temperatures between -5 and +35 degrees Celsius. Store in a dark, dry place, out of the reach of animals and children, and away from food and frequently used household items. Transport only with other chemicals.
Compatibility with other pesticides
"Tilt" is one of those new generation preparations that combine well not only with fungicides and pesticides of other groups, but can also be used together with growth regulators and stimulants.
Security measures
Tilt is classified as a moderately hazardous substance. However, skin contact or inhalation may cause irritation. Contact with the eyes or mouth can be very unpleasant. To avoid poisoning, wear goggles, thick clothing, and a respirator.
If the solution comes into contact with the skin, gently wipe it away with cotton wool or a cloth, avoiding smearing, and then wash with plenty of soap and water. Rinse eyes under running water for at least 15 minutes, being careful not to close them. If the solution is ingested, immediately take activated charcoal at a rate of 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight and try to induce vomiting. In all cases, seek immediate medical attention.

Reviews from summer residents
"We grow grain and clover for livestock in large quantities. Tilt has proven itself to be excellent, but it's a shame it can't be reused the following year."
"We use this product in our fields very often, alternating it with other fungicides. It's perfect for industrial purposes, but I'm hesitant to use it on my own farm yet."
Before purchasing a chemical product, remember one important thing: the results and your safety depend on strictly following the instructions for use. Use Tilt according to the instructions, and the results will meet your expectations.
