Lunar calendar: a work plan for 2025 for Belarusian gardeners

Gardening should be done at a specific time of year. It's important for gardeners to choose the right date and consult the lunar calendar. It has been repeatedly noted that crops planted during the waxing moon phase grow faster and produce more fruit. Our article presents the 2020 lunar gardening calendar for Belarus.

Phases of the Moon

Our ancestors have repeatedly noted that plants thrive much better if planted during the waxing moon phase. The waning moon can also impact plant growth and overall health. This is the best time to control weeds and harmful insects. Gardening should never be done during the new moon or full moon. If you still want to devote yourself to gardening during this period, consider how and where your crops will grow.

Gardeners and horticulturists should monitor the phase of the moon.

In this video, an expert will explain how to properly use the gardener's lunar sowing calendar.

According to the zodiac

To reap the benefits of your garden, it's important to remember that the ideal lunar phase is when the moon is in Taurus or Capricorn. These zodiac signs guarantee favorable conditions for planting seeds and crops. Planting crops is not recommended when the moon is in Libra, Gemini, or Aquarius. They certainly won't yield what gardeners desire. Plants will be weak and sickly. When the moon is in Libra or Gemini, you can tackle weeds or eliminate dangerous pests.

Experts advise watering, loosening and fertilizing the soil when the moon enters the sign of Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces. During this period, a favorable atmosphere is created for the growth of plants, which are fertilized and fed.
